Use of Stella

Data Collection

If a user wishes to use services offered through Stella, it is necessary that they register and provide further data. These are the data necessary for registration and for the use of the respective service.

For candidates, this includes name, address, and other contact details, such as email address and phone number, as well as all information required to apply for the respective open position. These include title, date of birth, details of education and professional background, skills, interests, language skills, university degrees, and if applicable, further data necessary for the position. Mandatory information is marked as such in the registration form. If these are not provided, the registration may not be carried out.

For clients, this primarily involves contact details of individuals involved in the recruiting process and the name and address of the client.

Purpose of Processing and Legal Basis

Candidates

  • The collection and processing of data from candidates are for the purpose of disclosing the respective data to the client for the position to which the candidate applies. The data are stored and visible on the Stella platform only to the client with whom the candidate wishes to apply for the particular position. If such a client is located in a country outside the EU or the EEA or is an international organization, the data may also be forwarded to clients who do not have a comparable level of data protection as in the EU or the EEA. In such a case, we will inform the candidate in advance if there is a decision by the EU Commission that the client has an adequate level of data protection. If such a decision is lacking, we will inform the candidate about the appropriate safeguards for protecting the data at the recipient and about the possibility to obtain a copy of these safeguards or where they are available.
  • The collection and processing of candidate data are based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR, for the performance of the user contract with the candidate or for interim managers who have concluded a separate contract with Huntrex Group GmbH & CO. KG, for the performance of this contract. If data are made accessible to clients located in a country outside the EU or the EEA or to clients that are international organizations, the transfer is based on Art. 49 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR for the fulfillment of the contract for the use of the Stella platform.
  • For candidates who have given their separate consent, the data are also stored beyond the purpose described under item (1) above and can be further accessed, evaluated, and used by Huntrex Group GmbH & CO. KG to determine whether the candidate is suitable for future open positions and therefore to contact them. This processing is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a) GDPR.
  • For interim managers who have given their separate consent, the data are also stored beyond the purpose described under item (1) above and used for a job profile that only shows professional qualification, skills, and education, but in such a way that these data can no longer be attributed to the specific person without additional information. These profiles can then be viewed by clients. However, further data that can establish a reference to the specific person are disclosed to an interested client only if the interim manager has expressly consented to this. This processing is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a) GDPR.
  • In addition, data from candidates are also passed on to other service providers that may support us, which we have naturally carefully selected and which process the data only for the purpose specified here and on our instructions. These may include technical service providers or other service providers that support us in other ways. We have concluded a contract for order data processing with all such service providers according to Art. 28 GDPR.

  • The collection and processing of client data are for the purpose of performing the contract for the use of Stella and the separately concluded contract with the client for recruitment. The data primarily involve contact details of employees of the client who are involved in the recruiting process for the respective open position.
  • The collection and processing of client data are based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit b) GDPR, for the performance of contractual agreements or for the performance of necessary pre-contractual measures.
